Sora (shark) Puttu

Had been wanting to post a recipe with fish and found this one! Easy to prepare and tastes soo good, can be had with steaming hot rice with ghee !!

Sora (shark) - 500 gms
Green Chillies - 4 - roughly chopped
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Garlic pods - 5 finely chopped and crushed
Ginger Garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Onion - 1 big - Finely chopped
Oil - 5 tbsp
Curry Leaves - 1 string
Corriander leaves - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste

Boil the sora (shark) in a deep dish with a half closed lid for 10 minutes in medium flame.
Remove from the boiling water and peel the skin off the flesh when the heat is bearable.
Crumble the shark finely.
Heat oil in kadai or wok, once the oil is hot drop in the green chillies, chopped garlic, ginger garlic paste, little curry leaves, saute for a minute.
Then add the onions. Add turmeric powder and fry the onions till they turn translucent.
Add the crumbled shark into the kadai and stir nicely.
Stir every now and then so that the shark does not stick to the kadai till the wetness goes away.
The Sora puttu is done when it does not stick together.
Garnish with Curry leaves and Corriander leaves.
